Dr. Itauma is a MedCo-accredited DME (Direct Medical Expert) available to provide medical opinions for claimants who would like to claim without legal representation through the Official Injury Claim (OIC) organisation.
I graduated from Medical School in 2004 with MBBCH with a further Master’s degree in Occupational Medicine (Msc) from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. I also hold a Certificate in Customer Services (ISO certified)
I have various certifications with the NHS Leadership programme also completed.
I have extensive Accident and Emergency experience which spans more than 17 years. I am trained in Minor injury management.
I have extensive experience in Acute Medicine with training and postings through critical care Medicine, Rehabilitation Medicine, Respiratory Medicine, Gastroenterology, Acute Stroke care and Elderly care Medicine. I have extensive experience in assessing and managing a range of soft tissue injury, bony injury, and complex injuries.
I am based in the Humber and Yorkshire area and have been preparing medico-legal reports for use in personal injury claims since 2016. I am a GMC revalidated doctor, working currently with the NHS as an Associate Specialist in Urgent treatment centre where I continue to assess and manage soft tissue injuries presenting to the department. I give Medico-legal reports for Medical Reporting agencies and personal injury Lawyers. I am a certified Direct Medical Expert with outstanding customer satisfaction feedback and outstanding reports.
Continued training in the medico-legal field has included MedCo Accreditation course, MedCo re-accreditation courses, numerous training sessions and seminars given by other Medical or Legal experts, international Whiplash conferences, Fraud conference and Expert Witness Institute conferences.
I have extensive experience of preparing reports in relation to a wide variety of soft tissue and minor bony injuries, sustained because of road traffic collisions, accidents in public places, trips and slips and workplace accidents, holiday accident claims. I also have extensive experience of reviewing medical records for the purposes of report preparation where necessary.

Available for consultation at Consulting Rooms in Hull, York, Nottingham, Grimsby, Doncaster and Boston. Also available for domiciliary and Prison visits where necessary.
